2024 National Finals are the week of Memorial Day 2024 at Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. The Bee will release its full broadcast schedule on spellingbee.com by May 1st.

Word Club
Your students can play spelling and vocabulary games with all 450 words from the 2024 School Spelling Bee Study List for free!
Students have a new way to study by downloading Word Club for free in the App Store or Google Play Store. Choose from five spelling play modes and three vocabulary play modes. Track your progress as you conquer the School Spelling Bee Study List and Words of the Champions, the recommended study resource for classroom, school, regional qualifier and regional spelling bees!
The Book!
Words of the Champions is the official study resource of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Help your student prepare for a classroom, school, regional qualifier or regional spelling bee with this list of 4,000 words, including all 450 words in the School Spelling Bee Study List. Book is available on Amazon.com.
Great Words, Great Works Book List
The 36 books on the 2024 Great Words, Great Works book list are separated both by grade level and the Bee's three reading levels. The list includes contemporary fiction, classics and nonfiction titles. Download the book list from the Spellingbee website.

About Spelling Bee
The Spelling Bee is a series of competitions beginning at the local school level, advancing to the Regional, and then to the State competition with an opportunity to win a trip to the National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. The event focuses on spelling and vocabulary knowledge with students in grades 5-8 eligible to compete.
