The Northern Coalition Education Center (NCEC) is a non-profit organization created in 1988 by a coalition of school districts in northwestern Minnesota. The NCEC is governed by an executive board that includes representative teachers, a principal, a superintendent, a school board member, a parent/community member, the NW Service Cooperative director and the NCEC coordinator.
Forty-eight school districts and organizations in northwestern Minnesota are presently members of the Northern Coalition Education Center (NCEC). NCEC members include: Ada/Borup, ASEC, Badger, Blackduck, BRIC, Circle of Life Academy, Clearbrook/Gonvick, Climax/Shelly, Crookston, Crookston Cathedral, East Grand Forks, Fertile/Beltrami, Fisher, Fosston, Goodridge, Greenbush/Middle River, Grygla, Kelliher, Kittson Central, Lake of the Woods, Lancaster, Laporte, Mahnomen, Marshall County Central, Naytahwaush Community Charter School, Nevis, Norman County East, Norman County West, NWRIC, Park Rapids, Pine Point, Red Lake County Central, Red Lake Falls, Red Lake, Roseau, Sacred Heart, S. Koochiching/Rainy River, St. Bernard's, St. Michael's, Stephen/Argyle, Thief River Falls, Tri-County, Voyageurs Expeditionary High School, Walker/Hackensack/Akeley, Warroad, Warren/Alvarado/Oslo, Waubun,/White Earth/Ogema and Win-E-Mac.
