  • ◊◊Two 1/2 day Positive Behavior Trainings at NWSC August 18!

    Join us for your choice of Positive Behavior Classroom Strategies (AM Session) or MTSS Tier 1 Practices for Behavior (PM session). Each a 1/2 day training at the NWSC August 18th, 2021.   • ◊◊August 26 Virtual Para Training

    For this year's Paraprofessional Training, there will be a Keynote and 6 sessions offered.  You can participate "live" the day of the event and watch the remaining sessions on your own after the training has ended. Prior to the event an agenda along with links to all of the trainings will be emailed to those that have registered.

    Each session is 50 minutes. Sessions will be recorded and available for 14 days after the live event. Cost is $40 per participant - Your school will be billed after the training. Register here and more information.

  • ◊◊Online Classes now available to meet MN Licensure Renewal Requirements

    To renew a MN teaching license, the MN licensure board requires training in each of six different areas: 1)Positive Behavior Intervention, 2)Reading Preparation, 3)Mental Illness Awareness, 4)Suicide Prevention Strategies, 5) English Learners Best Practices, and 6) Cultural Competency Training. NWSC Education Services has developed a set of online classes which allows participants to earn a clock hour in each of these categories. Teachers can meet the requirements for renewal at their own time, own place, and own pace.  Click for more information.
