    Thief River Falls is the site of a new Math Masters competition in 2024. Designed for 4-6th grade students, Math Masters challenges students to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills  in math.  Check out the full details here>>

  • ◊◊Entry Level Driver Training (for those looking to get their first CDL)

    Brian Byklum is offering entry level drivers training for those looking to get their school bus license or entry level CDL.  The one day course is available on Nov. 29, Jan. 31, Feb. 28, March 27. Registration is accessed through the NWSC calendar.  More information is there as well.

  • ◊◊Online Classes now available to meet MN Licensure Renewal Requirements

    To renew a MN teaching license, the MN licensure board requires training in each of six different areas: 1)Positive Behavior Intervention, 2)Reading Preparation, 3)Mental Illness Awareness, 4)Suicide Prevention Strategies, 5) English Learners Best Practices, and 6) Cultural Competency Training. NWSC Education Services has developed a set of online classes which allows participants to earn a clock hour in each of these categories. Teachers can meet the requirements for renewal at their own time, own place, and own pace.  Click for more information.
